These images are taken from a play I directed, animated, and sound designed. It was full-length play written entirely by Chat GPT 3 Turbo. The idea to do it grew out of discussions of the turmoil at OpenAI I was having with my son who graciously agreed to act as the AI interface for the project. The material was based on prompts and learning material that we created. I was not surprised by the low quality of the writing but I was shocked by the constant demand for digital moving images and sound effects throughout the script. As the stage descriptions were quite elaborate, I turned them into narration which was performed by ElevenLabs AI voices. The whole thing left me and many members of the audience unsettled and intellectually nauseous.
