These images are from works written by students. I designed and directed both projects. For one, my concept was to create a box within which the character found herself trapped but later the walls of the box became wings with the help of dancers. The other was a world created by crushed limestone from a quarry down the street, some clouds made of sticks found near the theater, and some shattered umbrellas. The final piece was a production I directed at an abandoned mental health facility. The play was written by a former student, now emerging playwright, Dane Futrell.
